3-2-12 Update: A second nomination! Received a very surprising email from Steve Cannon, publisher of A Gathering of the Tribes. The journal has nominated my poem, "Women Like Us," for a Pushcart Prize.
2-4-12: Pleased to find a letter in my mailbox today--I've been nominated for a 2013 Pushcart Prize. Every year Bill Henderson publishes his Best of the Small Presses and maybe this year one of my poems will be included. "Maybe" is the operative term here as the competition is fierce. I am quite happy to simply be nominated!
